Sabine Loos was awarded the VI José María Sarriegi Scientific Divulgation Award

Dr. Sabine Loos' paper “A data-driven approach to rapidly estimate recovery potential to go beyond building damage after disasters”, published in Nature Communications Earth and Environment in 2023, has won the VI José María Sarriegi Scientific Divulgation Award from the Aon Spain Foundation Catastrophe Observatory and Tecnun School of Engineering of the University of Navarra. Dr. Loos' coauthors include David Lallemant, Feroz Khan, Jamie W. McCaughey, Robert Banick, Nama Budhathoki, and Jack W. Baker.
